The following five studies are examples of the goals that SeC’s clinicians are pursuing. The timeframe of the project will however not allow for the completion of all of them and they have therefore been designed to evolve as clinicians gain more experience with SeC’s tools. Before the end of the first quarter of 2012 the five studies will have been refined, focused and prioritised by all the relevant partners to ensure that by the end of the project, in June 2012, one at least will be completed and the remaining ones will be emblematic of SeC’s potential future clinical exploitation activities after the end of the project. All possible effort will be focused on gathering the necessary data for all the five studies.
For the time being, the studies should therefore not be considered to be set in stone or to be indicative of work that will be necessarily carried out with EC funding and within the time limits of the project.
